Project Description

The expansion of Harvest Bible Chapel started before 2013 as a dream of the members. The original church occupied a one-floor school located on Spring Garden Road on the edge of a conservation area in west Windsor. The original school gym served as the sanctuary and largest meeting space in the existing sprawling 2,294m2 building. The congregation soon outgrew the existing space as they were having to conduct multiple Sunday morning worship services to accommodate the growing attendance of worshipers. The expansion was to be completed is 2 Phases starting with the site servicing and the development of 285 parking spaces. The second phase was the new sanctuary addition and renovation to the original building.

The new main entrance is located in the space between the new building addition and the existing original one-room school house.

It features a long glass skylight floating above the main entrance providing drama and natural daylighting to the long lobby space.

The new sanctuary provides seating for 810 on a floor sloping down to a wide stage. The state of the art audio video systems and dramatic lighting in the large open worship space provides flexibility for a variety of presentations and programs.
