Tim Glos

Tim holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Windsor and is a licensed Professional Engineer through Professional Engineers Ontario.

Paul Driedger
Vice President + Architectural Manager
Paul holds a Diploma in Education from the University of Western Ontario, and a Diploma in Architectural Technology from St. Clair College. Paul is a member of the Ontario Association of Architects and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada as a licensed technologist, as well as a member of the Canadian Green Building Council as a LEED Accredited Professional.

Valerie Dawn - M. Arch.
Principal Architect
In her 14 years of architectural practice, Valerie’s experience has spanned everything from the complexities of custom residential, to the larger coordination efforts required for projects like schools, care facilities, offices, and other commercial/institutional sector work. She has expertise in wood frame construction, advanced building science, urban planning, and development in urban centres. Valerie’s graduate thesis explored alternative methods for development in urban centres, focusing on the preservation and amplification of social complexity. Committed to her community, she has volunteered her time and talents to events such as TedX, and Building Waterloo Region.
Valerie holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Architecture and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Waterloo, and was awarded honors from the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada for graduating in the top 10% M.Arch candidates in Canada. Valerie is a member of the Ontario Association of Architects, as well as a member of the Canadian Green Building Council as a LEED Accredited Professional.

Aaron Ashley - Lic. Tech. OAA, LEED AP
Director of Business Development
Aaron is now the Director of Business Development, focusing on achieving company revenue goals, nurturing existing client relationships and recruiting new corporate alliances. Aaron gives direction in strategic planning including the identification of current and future industry trends and the value proposition for the company. As a LEED-accredited professional, Aaron also understands the sustainable design culture and assists with incorporating environmental strategies throughout the firm.
Aaron contributes to the local community through involvement in Doors Open Windsor and has a focus on local neighbourhood Ford City where he sits on the Ford City Redevelopment Committee. Aaron is also an active member of the Windsor Region Society of Architects – a local chapter of the Ontario Association of Architects and contributes to his alma mater by sitting on the St. Clair College Architectural Advisory Committee.

Kyle Revait - Technologist OAAAS
Project Manager
As a Technologist and Project Manager at Glos Associates, Kyle contributes to our team of architectural staff to ensure that goals and intentions agreed upon between the client and the design team are fully integrated into the project drawings and communicated through the contract documents. In his 10 years of architectural experience at our office, Kyle also takes on the role of Lead draftsman for large and small projects and is highly proficient in CADD and BIM software. Kyle has contributed to the design and development of a variety of building types, including multi-story residential buildings, churches, sport complexes, and industrial facilities. A strong community contributor, Kyle volunteers as a hockey coach for local youth in Windsor-Essex Region.

Bridget Ali - Dipl. Arch. Tech.
Project Manager
Having worked closely with Bridget in previous years while she worked for Randi Glos Architect Inc., she has proven to be an ambitious, knowledgeable, diligent, personable and reliable part of the Glos team.
She is also experienced with design, project coordination between all disciplines and contract administration from the conceptual start of a project through to the completion of construction.

Frank Difazio B.E.Sc., M.Eng., P.Eng.
Mechanical Engineer
Being at Glos for over 15 years, Frank has worked on a number of large mechanical projects and buildings including the new Windsor Star Printing Plant, Chrysler ARDC on Rhodes Drive, new Windsor Chrysler Car Dealership, UofW Automotive Research Building, new St. Clair College SportsPlex, new Leamington District Secondary School and numerous Retirement/Long-term Care Homes throughout Ontario.
Frank has also worked on numerous Industrial Projects including Windsor’s Zalev Brothers Plant, GM Transmission Plant, Ford Casting Plant, Kautex Corporation, C.E. Jamieson Pharmaceutical, Windsor/Chatham Water Treatment Plants, Tilbury Waste Water Treatment Plant, Harrow Research Centre, Nemak Windsor Aluminum Plant, LDM Technologies in Leamington and McCormick Foods in London. With over 23 years of experience, Frank offers streamlined and reliable expertise in coordinating all mechanical building services and components and he will ensure all technical and practical design requirements are incorporated into the building design for both large and small projects. Frank has been an active member in ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Engineers) since 1993.

John Van Huizen - Dipl. Arch. Tech.
Mechanical Designer
John is an Architectural Technologist graduate from the St. Clair College of Applied Technology and Trades.
After graduating, John familiarized himself in the building and facilities engineering industry and has worked on mechanical related projects for over 30 years.
His main focus of expertise is in the mechanical trades. John has been successful in preparing building drawings and has been most effective as a team assistant in providing a building package and seeing it through its design and construction stages.
At Glos Associates John is the mechanical support for plumbing, fire protection and HVAC systems in all Glos Projects.
Over the years John has worked on many mechanical related projects and buildings in all applications which include Industrial, Commercial and Institutional settings. John is also familiar with working on projects in both the public and private sector and has experience in Asset management.
John is a good ambassador for the consulting industry and his input in collaborating with all trades provides a service that will ensure all technical and practical design requirements are incorporated into the building design for projects of any scale.

Jennifer Durocher - Dipl. Arch. Tech.
Engineering Manager
As the Lead Structural Designer, Jennifer works closely with the Structural and Civil Engineers as well as our architectural, mechanical and electrical teams to ensure that goals and intentions agreed upon between the client and the design team are fully integrated into the project drawings and communicated through the contract documents. With over 20 years of experience in many facets of the construction and manufacturing industry and 12 years of experience at Glos, Jennifer also takes the lead on managing the communication between the departments to maximize the level of coordination between disciplines.

Grace Chaberska - Masters of Architecture
Designer
As a new comer to Canada, Grace recently joined the Glos Team. She is a graduate of Architecture from the Technical University of Gdansk and worked as a professional Architect in Poland. Having spent 3 years living out of a back pack and traveling the world, Grace brings a unique creativity and style to her work. Being an accomplished artist, specializing in sketching and water colors, she has the ability to incorporate different styles of architecture into the conceptual designs. Grace spends her free time teaching painting, creating murals and doing chainsaw sculptures.

Chantal Bechard - Dipl. Arch. Tech.
Designer
A graduate from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in Ottawa, Ontario, Chantal is an architectural technologist by day and a pastry chef by night. By professionally bridging these two fields Chantal has tapped into her aptitude for hands-on creation and detailing, whether the project is a wedding cake or a new school building.

Laura Wight - Dipl. Arch. Tech
Designer
After graduating from St. Clair College, Laura has joined Glos Associates for the opportunity to hone her skillset as an Architectural Technologist. Laura is working primary with the Structural and Architectural disciplines, and is developing a deeper understanding of building practices as she continues to expand her experience portfolio. Laura’s passion lies within micro / sustainable architecture and its functionality in urban spaces.

R. Justyn Brando - Dipl. Arch. Tech
Designer
A graduate of St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology in Windsor, Justyn has since spent the last 6 years focused on the 3D modeling, BIM and visual design aspects of Architecture. Working on various projects from custom residential to institutional, Justyn’s expertise in BIM modeling aides in bringing to life the clients vision from conceptual design through to construction.
When all of the day’s challenges are resolved at the office, Justyn enjoys writing, recording and playing multiple genres of music.

Chris Guenther - Dipl. Arch. Tech.
Designer
A graduate of St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology in Windsor, Chris has over 3 years experience working as an Architectural Technologist in a metro Vancouver firm concentrating on a wide range of project types. Chris prides himself as a strong asset in document creation throughout the entirety of a project and has a knack for illustration. When Chris isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.

Neil Garden - Dipl. Civil Eng. Tech.
Construction Project Manager
Neil is a graduate from St. Clair College’s Civil Engineering Technology Program. After graduating, Neil began to gain experience and develop a strong understanding of construction processes while working in the field. Neil joins our team whilst continuing to improve upon his creative drafting skills while working closely with both Architectural and Structural Departments.

Emily Papalia - Dipl. Arch. Tech.
Executive Technical Assistant
Emily is more than just a graduate of the Architectural Technician program at Durham College. She is our saxophonist, photographer and colourful traveler.
Having graduated in 2015, Emily currently has 4 years’ experience in the architectural field, designs ranging from custom residential renovations, to large coordination efforts required for international conventions at Toronto’s Exhibition Place. Emily joined the Glos team to develop her experience portfolio, and primarily assists Tim Glos as executive technical assistant.
Emily regularly offers her skills to support her community in many scopes; she does this by volunteering with Local Design/Construction (LDC), a non-profit organization that designs and builds meeting venues and community buildings across Canada, as well as with deaf associations as a teacher in American Sign Language.

Nicoleta Castillo - CPA, CMA
Financial Manager
Having 15 years of experience in accounting and finance, Nicoleta continues to support the senior management team with analysis and data that enhances their decision making ability.
A strong community contributor, Nicoleta volunteers at the Kids Cove for a local church in Windsor-Essex.
